Deep Cleaning Services in Sharjah: What's Included and How Long It Takes
Deep cleaning services in Sharjah cover the parts of a home that weekly cleaning never reaches: limescale on taps and glass, grease on the hood and cabinet fronts, dust on top of wardrobes, inside cupboards, along skirting and behind furniture. Most apartment deep cleans take about 3–6 hours, while larger villas can take most of a day. Here's what's included, how the day runs and what decides how long it takes.
What deep cleaning services in Sharjah include
A deep clean is a top-to-bottom reset, done room by room to a written checklist. The details vary by company, but a thorough service should cover the following.
Kitchen
- Hob, hood and splashback degreased
- Cabinet fronts, handles and the tops of wall units
- Inside cupboards and drawers, if they're emptied before the team arrives
- Sink, taps and drainer descaled and polished
- Appliance exteriors wiped, and the floor cleaned edge to edge
Bathrooms
- Limescale removed from taps, shower heads, glass screens and tiles
- Grout scrubbed, and the toilet cleaned and sanitised inside, outside and at the base
- Mirrors, cabinets, extractor grilles and drains
Bedrooms and living areas
- High dusting: ceiling corners, light fittings, curtain rails and wardrobe tops
- AC grilles wiped, which matters in a home where the AC runs most of the year
- Doors, frames, switches and skirting boards
- Under and behind movable furniture
- Interior windows, sills and tracks, where fine sand collects
- Floors vacuumed and mopped, including corners and edges
Balcony
Swept and washed, with the door tracks cleaned so sand doesn't get walked back inside.

What's usually not included
It helps to know the edges of the job before you book. Most deep cleans don't automatically include:
- Sofa, mattress, carpet and curtain cleaning. These need extraction or specialist equipment and are usually priced per item.
- Inside appliances such as the oven or fridge, unless you ask for it.
- AC duct cleaning, which is a separate service from wiping the grilles.
- Exterior windows on upper floors, which need safe access.
- Pet-odour treatment for soft furnishings.
If any of these matter to you, mention them when you ask for a quote so they're added to the plan and the price.
How long a deep clean takes
As a guide, most apartment deep cleans take about 3–6 hours, and larger villas can take most of a day. A good company sizes the team to the property, so the work is finished in one visit rather than spread over several days.
What makes a job longer:
- Size and layout: more bedrooms, bathrooms and floors mean more hours, even with a bigger team.
- Condition: heavy grease, thick limescale or a home that hasn't had a thorough clean in a long time.
- Clutter: every surface that has to be cleared first slows the team down.
- Extras: sofa, carpet or mattress cleaning added to the same visit.
- Pets: hair in AC grilles, under furniture and on soft furnishings takes extra time.
How the day usually runs
- Walk-through. The team lead confirms the checklist and your priorities.
- Top down. High dusting first, so nothing falls onto surfaces already cleaned.
- Wet areas. Descaling products in bathrooms and degreaser in the kitchen are given time to work while other rooms are done.
- Rooms, then floors. Surfaces, doors and skirting, then floors last, working towards the exit.
- Inspection. The lead checks each room against the checklist before handover, and it's worth walking through with them.
Small things that save time: clear worktops and bathroom shelves, empty any cupboards you want cleaned inside, and make sure the team can park and get building access. It means more of the visit goes on cleaning.
When to book a deep clean
- Before moving in, or before handing a flat back
- After renovation work or a dusty spell
- Before guests, Ramadan or Eid
- When a home hasn't had a thorough clean in several months
- Before starting regular cleaning, so upkeep starts from a clean baseline
Many households follow a deep clean with lighter, regular upkeep. If you're weighing up how to handle the in-between weeks, our comparison of monthly cleaning plans and hourly maids and our look at hourly cleaners versus a fixed-price deep clean may help.
What it costs
Deep cleaning is priced by property size and condition. As a guide, Tip Top's deep cleaning starts from around AED 199 for a studio, roughly AED 299–599 for a 1–2 bedroom apartment and AED 999+ for villas. Sofa, mattress, carpet and pet-odour treatment are priced per item. We confirm the final price after a free on-site or photo-based assessment, before any work starts.
Whoever you book, ask for a fixed price for a written scope, find out who will come to your home, and check what happens if something is missed. At Tip Top, if anything is missed, we re-clean it free.
