Apartment Deep Cleaning, 1-Bed to 4-Bed: What to Expect
Deep apartment cleaning services follow the same room-by-room checklist whether you live in a one-bedroom flat or a four-bedroom apartment; what changes with size is the team, the time and the price. Most apartment deep cleans take about 3–6 hours, with the team sized to the flat so it's finished in one visit. Here's what to expect at each size, and what's specific to cleaning an apartment rather than a villa.
What deep apartment cleaning services cover
A full apartment deep clean usually includes:
- Kitchen: hob, hood and splashback degreased; cabinet fronts and tops; sink and taps descaled; appliance exteriors; inside cupboards if emptied.
- Bathrooms: limescale removed from glass, taps and tiles; grout scrubbed; toilet sanitised; mirrors, drains and extractor grilles.
- Bedrooms and living areas: high dusting, AC grilles, light fittings, wardrobe tops, doors, frames, switches and skirting; under and behind movable furniture.
- Windows: interior glass, frames, sills and tracks.
- Balcony: swept and washed, with door tracks cleared of sand.
- Floors: vacuumed and mopped edge to edge, last of all.
Sofa, mattress, carpet and curtain cleaning are separate items that can be added to the same visit.

Within each size, the condition of the flat makes the biggest difference. A well-kept two-bedroom may take less time than a one-bedroom that hasn't had a thorough clean in a year. The price is confirmed after a free on-site or photo-based assessment.
One-bedroom and studio flats
Smaller flats are quick to finish, but the kitchen and bathroom are often used hard. Expect most of the effort to go on grease and limescale. A small team can usually finish well within a working morning or afternoon.
Two- and three-bedroom flats
More bathrooms is the main thing that adds time. A larger team works on bathrooms and the kitchen in parallel while others dust and clean the bedrooms, so the job still fits into one visit.
Four-bedroom apartments
Large apartments approach villa-sized jobs: several bathrooms, big living spaces and lots of storage. A bigger team keeps it to one visit, though it can take most of the day.
What's specific to apartments
Building access and parking
Many Sharjah towers need visitors registered at reception or a parking pass. Sorting this in advance means the team starts on time. Let the company know if there's a service lift or a time window for contractors.
Balconies and sand
Balconies collect fine sand quickly, and it gets carried inside on feet and through sliding door tracks. Cleaning the balcony and the tracks is part of a proper apartment clean, not an extra.
Windows
Interior glass, frames and tracks are included. Exterior glass on upper floors usually needs building access or rope access, so check with your building management.
Closed rooms and AC
Apartments are often sealed with the AC running, so dust settles on AC grilles, ceiling corners and the tops of wardrobes. These are always part of a deep clean.
Moving in or out? An empty apartment is the easiest time for a deep clean. Book it after the movers leave or before your furniture arrives, so every cupboard and corner can be reached.

- Is the price fixed for a written scope, confirmed before work starts?
- How many people will come, and how long will they need?
- Are the team trained, background-checked and insured?
